Thanks a million! This has solved the problem. I only needed to do the first step, delete the /etc/crypttab and run "dracut -f". Unfortunately i did nt read before the mails and i opened a bug report: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6097 -- Dimitrios Glentadakis
