Check /etc/pam.d/ for any files ending with ".rpmnew".  If there are any
like system-auth.rpmnew, rename the files such as
mv system-auth system-auth.old
mv system-auth.rpmsave system-auth

Then reboot.  I expect the pam rules can get reloaded without having to
reboot, but it's probably faster to just reboot.
