Hi,
I am trying Mageia 2 with Ubuntu. Everything is fine but when I
installed Ubuntu 12.04 I can't boot into Mageia 2? It throws
kernel panic error. It seems like the old bug.

Any suggestion?

There was something about this in the errata.

Thanks. I will test that and report back.

Ubuntu uses Grub 2. There was a statement somewhere that Mageia using
Grub 1 can't dual boot with any distro using Grub 2.

Just waking up. It should be possible to boot from the Ubuntu
bootloader screen. Make that the main bootloader.
HTH,
Doug.
The other way around is possible too, although not officially supported
by Mageia.
Read

and the section it links to for adding a GRUB2 based system to your
Mageia GRUB bootloader
