When things are going bad, and you meet someone you don't like and he asks you "how do you do", what do you answer?
I know very many people who always answer something like: "fine, thank you", regardless of how they are really doing, even to people they do like, because they've been taught that that is the correct answer to that question.
What you're taught to do has a tremendous influence on how you see and interpret things. That is not something you can change overnight
