Also, the HDD temp is between 35 C and 39 C. Which is normal.
So in other words, the problem is not necessarily that your computer is
running hot,
rather that the fan runs all the time, even when not needed.
(The heat is essentially generated by the cpu.)
You could try opening up the portable and cleaning out the dust that has
(inevitably) accumulated. It might be affecting the temporature sensor
which controls the fan.
Otherwise it could be something in the power-saving configuration.
(Like cpu frequency ?)
With all the dancing monkeys and other effects, Microsoft systems almost
always run hotter.
