During installation, it is possible to use old partitions.

An option allows to see the file trees but not to see their contents. In
consequence, it is difficult to identify the installed systems and a big mistake
can be easily done when several are present.
From the screen visible in the documentation :
http://doc.mageia.org/installer/2/fr/content/diskdrake.html

you can access the content of the existing partition (button Voir, not visible in the screenshot in English version)

However, the installer has already indentified the installed systems.
A great improvement could be done if the distro name is given when the
partitions are selected.
Diskdrake displays already the partition size. It should be possible to add
the name of the system when a system is installed on this partition. Exemples:
Mageia 1, Mageia 2, Cauldron, Mandriva 10.2.

Good idea.
