[Magick-bugs] tiff images error on mac - - - is there any solution?

Hello imagemagick users.
Does anybody have any information if the tif images bug on mac has been addressed ? 

--bug desc.

I am getting the following error while executing a simple format change. 
I am working on a mac.


$ convert BMNG_apian.tif BMNG_apian.jpg

convert: Not a TIFF file, bad version number 10752 (0x2a00). 
`BMNG_apian.tif'.
