Hi,
Sometime between 6.3.5[1] and the current 6.3.7-10 the results from the
following command have changed.
Convert image.png -level 75%,100%,0.5 image-level.png
I've tried both the Q8 and Q16 binaries from the imagemagick website on
windows and the rpm on Fedora 8, they all give the same incorrect results.
I originally posted about this on the magick-users list, but I'm reposting
here since this definitely seems to be a bug. The original thread is

I've posted an image and the various results:

http://www.redtetrahedron.org/23-section-test-windows.png
Everywhere I've tested 6.3.7-10 this is the result. However the specifics
for this image are
Window XP sp2:
C:\>convert -version
Version: ImageMagick 6.3.7 01/11/08 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org
Copyright: Copyright (C) 1999-2008 ImageMagick Studio LLC
http://www.redtetrahedron.org/23-section-test-linux.png
This is the expected result, I believe. The above image is from
Ubuntu 7.10:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~\> convert -version
Version: ImageMagick 6.2.4 10/02/07 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org
Copyright: Copyright (C) 1999-2005 ImageMagick Studio LLC
I can try other things or provide more information as needed
