I'm using ImageMagick 6.3.8 on Tru64 UNIX to create PCL output from a PNG file. The source PNG and the resulting PCL file are attached. The PDF file is a scan of the printed page.
I've tried this with several files with similar results; this particular sample is small, which is why I chose it. The command line to do the conversion is: convert l_petrol_34.png l_petrol_34.pcl I've tested the output on four different printers, two fairly old and two brand new. The documentation doesn't say which version of PCL is supported, but the results are consistent across the different printers. I'm far from an expert ImageMagick user, so if I'm doing something stupid, please let me know. Thank you, Doug McGrath
