Glenn, I just check it, I saw Q16 on both Linux and Windows machines

It is fixed at the time of building ImageMagick.  You can find out what
you have by typing "convert" without any options and looking at the first
two lines of output (on Linux, "convert | head -2").  It is the number
of bits per sample used to store the images internally.  Q16 is more
accurate but more expensive than Q8 in terms of CPU and memory usage.
