JMagick is a wrapper around ImageMagick written in Java. Presumably ImageMagick, Java, and Ghostscript are supported under SuSE so it should be safe to use JMagick. The only advantage of SuSe support that we can think of is security updates. Since JMagick is a wrapper for ImageMagick the security updates would most likely come in the form of patches to ImageMagick, not JMagick, and since ImageMagick is a supported SuSE package, again it should be safe to use JMagick. As an aside, we have had offers from companies to pay us to support ImageMagick so they can install the package on their enterprise systems. We mention that support is free but they tell us its a requiredment to have paid support before they can utilize a software package. _______________________________________________ Magick-developers mailing list Magick-developers@imagemagick.org http://studio.imagemagick.org/mailman/listinfo/magick-developers
