Hi, To meet the needs of the company I work at, we have patched ImageMagick to calculate the kurtosis and skewness of image channels, similar to how mean and standard deviation are already calculated. This allows our internal tools to automatically check the quality of images being processed and reject any images that fail to meet a certain threshold. I'm submitting the patch hoping it is useful to others. The patch is at the following url:

I don't wish to keep the patch outside the ImageMagick source tree and get into the business of making sure it applies cleanly for every new release of ImageMagick.
