| I really don't understand, since I clearly see that the red channel is not
| blured with the text "ImageMagick" which is written in Red.
|
| And the clothes of the wizard which are Blue are blured!

Bluring individual color channels treats each channel as a grey scale
image. Blur has no sense of color, and an individual channel is only one
part of a color.

The color white is NOT really a color, but the composite of red, blue
and green combined to produce white. Just as black is really the absence
of these three colors.

As such red text on white is in the red channel, all on. No differences
and nothing to blur.

If you had blurred all the channels for red text on white, the blue and
green channels will spread, making the red text whiter (adding blue and
green) and the white areas redder (removing blue and green colors).

Blue on white however is if you look at the red channel, full-off red in
a field of full-on red. so a blur makes the blue areas red, as red is
spread into the blue region, and the white parts less red (cyan), as
thins the red channel out.

For a red area on black, then you will get the look you were trying to
get!!!
