I'd like to combine the commands to first resize the image to a
certain width and then crop it to the height.
I'm still on IM 5.x
I used this command:
convert -size 400x200 -resize '80>' -crop 80x60+0+0 -page +0+0
img.jpg imgnew.jpg
With this command the image is just resized.
If I use the following command it gets cropped:
convert -size 400x200 -crop 80x60+0+0 -page +0+0 img.jpg imgnew.jpg
but how can I combine the two?
