Greetings --
I am using imagemagick to transform a boatload of small images. I am
trying to cut the edges off these images, and I've tried both
convert $file -shave 6x6 shaven_$file
and
convert $file -crop ${w}x${h}+${ux}+${uy} shaven_$file
(assume my variables/numbers aren't the problem).
Each does what I want, more or less, but it doesn't actually _take away_
the edges -- it just clears them and leaves transparency in their place.
I'm sure it's easy to do what I want, but...how?
Any advice most appreciated.
