| Hi again,

| I use the folling command to create a small thumbnail:
|
| convert -verbose -size 100x100 pix/a.jpg -verbose -scale 100x100 pix/a_t.jpg
|
| It actually works when I use my shell. But when I use PHP to pass the

The -verbose is not needed and -size should be generally double that
of the resize setting.

Also you probably want to use -resize rather than -scale for the
thumbnail. And finally HPEG is often not a small enough format for
thumbnails though does work OK.

See Thumbnailing

for examples and notes about all thumbnailing problems.

NOTE the PHP may not be running in the directory you expect it to be
runnin when launched from the WWW.
