Hi everybody,

I want to convert round about 3000 cgm files to small thumbs in jpg
format.
Does anyone of you have experience with converting cgm files?

When trying to convert a test file I allways get errors. And now I dont
know what to do anymore ...
I have installed:

    C:\Programme\ralcgm
    C:\Programme\gs\gs8.53
    C:\Programme\ImageMagick-6.2.6-Q16

Now I try to convert:

C:\>convert -verbose corvette.cgm corvette.jpg
ralcgm -d ps "magick-b6hnhkmv" "magick-77cftkqn" "magick-emmn1ch2"
convert -concatenate magick-77cftkqn*.ps "magick-77cftkqn"

***FATAL ERROR: CGMmain [140] Cannot open file (Input file:
magick-b6hnhkmv.cgm)
convert: Delegate failed `ralcgm -d ps "%i" "%o" "%u" convert
-concatenate %o*.ps "%o"'.
convert: unable to open image `magick-77cftkqn': No such file or
directory.
convert: unable to open file `magick-77cftkqn': No such file or
directory.
convert: missing an image filename `corvette.jpg'.

Where does the file name "magick-b6hnhkmv" come from? The input file
name is corvette.cgm.
And MAGICK_TMPDIR=C:\tmp\magic2; and not magick-77cftkqn.

What the hell is going wrong!

Thanks!

Alex
