True, but I think that Dave rather would end up with only the dog in the jpg, and not clipping mask itself. I have also tried to extract images with clipping on an XP with varoius success, but in the end a gave up. I have spend som more time on Thyssen's examples, an one interesting thougt could be, how to extract an image with clipping and aply a soft shaddow to it.
