For some reason, on my Kubuntu 5.10 machine whenever I try to batch
convert PNG's to BMP's the resulting BMP images are all broken. That
is, no program can open them and they appear to Konqueror as 0*0 pixel
image files. I tried these two commands:
$ for f in *.png; do fn=`echo $f | awk -F\. '{print $1}'`; convert $f
$f.bmp; done
$ for f in *.png ; do convert $f $f.bmp; done
