Hi,

I am 99% sure that there are RPM of IM on RH distributions. Perhaps 
you didn't spot it during the install. Still you could use yum or up-
to-date to get fetch a copy. V 6.2.2 looks like the latest version 
available as an RPM (looks like mine could be updated too).

>'yum list ImageMagick'
ImageMagick.i386               6.2.2.0-2.fc3          updates-released 

Sticking with the source install, it sounds like you you haven't 
installed the jpeg libraries. You need that if you want to use IM on 
jpeg (and I sure you do). 

I think the best way for you to proceed would be to use yum or 
something similar to install the RPMs for both

libjpeg.i386                             6b-33
