Been experimenting a bit with all of them, and as I can't get them to behave the way I want them to, I thought I might as well just list an example of what I want to do. It's really very simple. I have two images

of equal dimensions that are supposed to be lined up side by side. So, I

want to take the first image and double its vertical canvas size so that

I can paste the other image in the sequence in the resulting space, and then save the product. Any takers?
