Well I am sorrt to say. At this time you can't do it with IM. Your oblique view requires a 4 point non-linear transformation, (also known as perspective, or trapezoidal transforms). Currently IM only has 3 point linear transforms (scales and rotates). Current suggestions include... Create a ImageMagick Distortion/Displacement Map http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~anthony/graphics/imagick6/distorts/#distort_maps (examples still under development) Triangular Meshed transform using XMorph http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~anthony/bugs/future/#mesh Use a 3d raytracer like POV to import, angle and return the transformed image Use a 3d graphics library like OpenGL or Mesa (better lighting control) The OpenGL solution has the advantage that it is posible to use a 'delegate library' or create an application that can do do this task in general (given a set of 3d rotation angles, or 4 point transform) Of course someone still needs to program it and until it is, it is not generally available. I like to, and even has some experience, but have enough to do, at this time. See my previous experiments in OpenGL and POV in http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~anthony/graphics/ (this is one directory above the IM Examples) Anthony Thyssen ( System Programmer ) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER - These opoi^H^H "damn", ^H, [esc :q :qq !q "shit!" :Q!
