I've just installed the latest versions of MinGW and ImageMagick on Windows, with a view to writing a simple (to start with) C program for manipulating images, and was wondering if anyone uses the same combination, or can point me to some example code, especially the preprocessing and compile options.
I don't wish to rebuild ImageMagick unless this is necessary, which I gather it would be if I were using C++ but should not be for C. My basic problem is that I'm rather rusty in using C and am not too confident of the myriad options that may need setting so that C can find the ImageMagick libraries and include files. But that should be fairly trivial for someone who has used MinGW + ImageMagick on Windows, and hopefully some such kind soul reads this and can help!
