| Hi,
| I am trying to create an image using the composite command, but I cannot get
| the text to be created on the image in the correct font.
| I can create an image correctly in two steps as follows:
| Convert -font courier -pointsize 12 po.text pogif.gif
| Followed by
| Composite -compose multiply image1.gif pogif.gif po.gif
| But I would prefer to do it in one step if possible but the following do not
| work and ignore the -font command
| Composite -compose multiply image1.gif po.text -font courier -pointsize 12
| po.gif
| Or
| Composite -compose multiply image1.gif text:po -font courier po.gif
| Can the font be specified in the composite command? Thanks in advance for
| any suggestions.
During IM v6 development -compose setting and -composite operator
options were added to "convert"

As such try...

   convert -font courier -pointsize 12 po.text \
           image1.gif -compose multiply -composite \
           po.gif
