Writing uncompressed GIFs will probably be quite a bit
faster than compressed ones.

Unfortunately I don't know the exact build args the old version was
built with,
the person who built it no longer works here and I can't find any build
dir or
documentation on the options he used. Is there anyway to extract from a
binary
the configure arguments?
However if I diff the output from two converts of the same imput image,
the are identical.
