Hi,
First time I'm posting, so sorry if this is a faq.
I'm using the -fx tag, trying to transform an image with things like - fx
'p{asin(i/w),j}' .
I'm surprised that the asin function, which arguments should
mathematically be between -1 and 1, expect actually a number which is much
higher than 1 (in fact the "i" argument)
Furthermore, if I'm not wrong, pi/2-asin(x) should be equal to acos (x),
which doesn't seem to be the case. I cannot understand what is exactly the
behaviour of the asin and acos mathematical functions in convert -fx. I
know what they should be mathematically. Can someone explain, or is this
a bug ? Was it corrected in newer or beta versions (I'm using imagemagick
6.1.8)
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks a lot
Damir
