Convert image.png  -separate  image_%d.png

i found the '%d' did not work on my system. i can only do it channel by channel:

convert image.png  -separate  -channel R image_r.png
convert image.png  -separate  -channel G image_g.png
convert image.png  -separate  -channel B image_b.png


You will get three files numbers 1, 2 and 3 for red .green and blue
respectivally.
