All, I'm using xsane on fedora 6 to scan a 17 page document consisting of text and graphics. That process created 17 individual pdf's. To assemble the files into a single pdf I ran: $ convert * all.pdf. I think I'm using version number ImageMagick-6.2.8.
This did indeed add all of the individual pages into one pdf file. However, the resulting pdf seemed to have been a degraded version of all the individual pdf's. While I can clearly read all of the individual pdf's, the composite pdf looks like it was taken from a 50 dpi scan and is quite garbled. I've been playing around with the various convert options, but have not discovered an option to preserve the original scan quality. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance! bgman. -- Bob Grossman _______________________________________________ Magick-users mailing list [email protected] http://studio.imagemagick.org/mailman/listinfo/magick-users
