Lets see if I have this right, perhaps someone on the list will correct me if I am wrong.
convert -strip file.jpg # remove all profiles # add a profile to file newfile.jpg. convert -profile path_to_icc_file file.jpg newfile.jpg # Convert between profiles convert -profile srgb.icm -profile Adobe1998.icc newfile.jpg converted.jpg I am fairly confident that last command will convert the profile in newfile.jpg and the resulting file, converted.jpg, will be in the new colour space, converting the colours and not assigning them.
