I'm slowly reacquiring the hacker nature, and a project I've wanted to
work on for quite some time was building a reasonably usable RIP for my
very cheaply acquired NovaJet Pro 50 wide format inkjet.

Since the only format it speaks is HP/RTL, that's what I'm going to
have to output in.

My plan was to use GS8 to rip to an internal bitmap format (PNM, PNG,
or the like), and then use the Magick tools to allow me to rotate,
flip, and tile the RIPped files into output streams and convert to RTL
for actual printing...

and I thought Magick *spoke* RTL. But a quick look at the website just
now suggests I may be wrong.

Does it? Did it?

Or am I going to have to use ImageAlchemy for my last stage of output?

Cheers,
