I am running a windows 2003 server, with apache, php5 and imagemagick.
I run all my imagemagick commands with the help of the 'exec()' from
php.
Example: exec("convert logo: out.jpg")
There is rather heacy traffic sometimes at my server.
A couple of times per day the website gets stuck because 'exec' does not
function anymore.
When I open the task manager, I see a lot of occurences of 'cmd'
processes (which are started bij exec()) and a lot fo occurences of
convert (from IM).
All those 'convert' processes use like around 1,500 - 3,000 kB of
memory.
I was onetime running on a server with Ubuntu and never had this
problem.
Does anybody know how I can solve this or what I can try to research the
problem?
