Hi,
I have compiled Imagemagick from a source file, and moved the binaries along
with the libraries to a nfs location. However
/6.3.0/bin/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/convert -list format
  Format  Module    Mode  Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* native blob support

whereas the rpm installed binary gives the output

/usr/bin/convert -list format

           Medicine (DICOM)", is available at http://medical.nema.org/
           In particular, see part 5 which describes the image encoding
