Your welcome. I do try to ensure I list exactly when thing came in and
'what changed', though it is hard.

For example IM v5 image rotations just do not get the background right.

You would probably be interested in blurb on command line operation
ordering changes. This was actually the think that caused IM v5 to
become IM v6 as it had such a major impact on scripting, when the IM
commands used more than one image processing option.

Also have a look at the 'Bugs' section where I saved the examples of
major bugs that existed in IM, the workarounds, and when they were
fixed. For example the Resize, Blur and Drawing "Halos" when
transparency is involved, was also a major problem in early IM v6 that
was fixed.

One that isn't listed is that many Image Compositions failed to be
handled correctly (for example -compose hardlight and -compose overlay )
witin IM v5. In fact it was those that first got me bug fixing some of
the IM Magick Core library code during the IM v6 development.

Current development has been in GIF animation handling,
Ordered-Dithering (generally and with uniform color maps), and just
recently with Distortion mapping functions, such as perspective
distorting or correcting.

Still huge areas are being fixed and updated, including normalization,
leveling, and contrast stretching of color histograms, GIF animation
merging, Order-dither with a 'user supplied color map', and Image
comparisions etc etc..

Areas which are very research intensive or badly in need of people with
appropriate knowedge to look into.
