Hello Everyone,

I am relatively new to IM, but have had many years of image processing background. I have recently developed some bash scripts to process images using IM in some new ways and would like to offer those to anyone interested. I have posted these scripts on my web site at:

http://www.fmwconcepts.com/imagemagick/index.html

You will find information about each script, examples and comparisons and be able to download the scripts from this web site.

Any comments and feedback are welcome.

I will be posting new scripts from time to time as I implement some other interesting functions that I have in mind.

The scripts that I have posted so far are as follows:

* omnistretch

To enhance the dynamic range of brightness values and optionally saturation values in an image by analyzing the image's histogram.

* bcimage

To change the brightness and/or contrast of an image.

* plmlut

To generate a piece-wise linear mapping look up table (image).

* plm

To generate and apply a piece-wise linear mapping look up table to an image.

* rotate3D

To apply a perspective distortion to an image by providing 3 rotation angles and automatically fit the output to the same size as the input image.

* 3Drotate

To apply a perspective distortion to an image by providing 3 rotation angles, zoom and offsets.

* redist

To modify an image so that its (grayscale) histogram has a Gaussian, sometimes called normal or bell-shaped, distribution.

* histog

To generate an output image which is composed of the histograms from each channel of the image (with options for labeling and color presentation scheme).

* pscolor

To apply pseudocolor to a grayscale image with a rainbow color transformation.
