We are using Compare to try and compare 2 TIFF Files, but the compare results always tend to display error message and any 2 image compared displays the same difference in pixels, any reason for the following error message. Please advise. TIFF File Comparison: While comparing two tif files using ImageMagicK, the tool returns the following result: 1. C:\Tests\TIFF\D>compare -metric AE d_2000.tif d_2000.tif d_2000_diff.tif 34891 compare: incorrect count for field "DateTime" (23, expecting 20); tag trimmed. `d_2000.tif'. 2. C:\Tests\TIFF\D>compare -metric AE d_2000.tif d_2000scs.tif d_2000_diff.tif 34891 compare: incorrect count for field "DateTime" (23, expecting 20); tag trimmed. `d_2000.tif'. compare: incorrect count for field "DateTime" (23, expecting 20); tag trimmed. `d_2000scs.tif'. C:\Tests\TIFF\D> We tried on various similar files and the result is incorrect count for field error. Even the pixel difference is always 34891 for any file (Even similar files as shown in the first example) and takes a lot of time and memory (Around 2.0 GB) for doing this comparison.
