IM does not have anything like that, yet, except for -distort
bilinear to my knowledge. The -implode is also similar.
See http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#implode
I have prototyped a script, pinbarrel, to do pincushion and barrel
distortion, that I hope at some point will get implemented into the
-distort list of distortions. It is also similar to what you want.
You can get it at
http://www.fmwconcepts.com/imagemagick/index.html
But note that it uses -fx and therefore will be very slow for large images.
Unfortunately there is no interactive capability for you to be able
to drag and get immediate feedback. You will need to experiment with
parameters on a small image until you get what you want.
You can also do something like that with distortion maps. See
http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#lut_hourglass
I'd like to achieve this effect.
http://www.bigstockphoto.com/photo/view/2345862
In Photoshop, I use the warp tool to drag the Top-Center and
Bottom-Center toward the Center of my image.
To achieve the bottom reflection portion of above photo, I drag the
Top-Center and Bottom-Center away from the Center of my image.
(matching the amount of pull with the previous pinch).
I can almost get what I want using -distort Bilinear
http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#bilinear
Any ideas?
