try convert image.tiff image.pbm There will be some header information, but after than you will get an array of 0s and 1s. Dear all, I need to convert some black and white TIFF images into a matrix of 1s and 0s. For example, there is a black and white TIFF with 4x4 pixels (a square represents a pixel): http://www.comminn.net/ftp/4x4.JPG I would like to convert it into a plaintext matrix like this: 0011 1001 1101 1110 Could imagemagick help?
