I do have Ghostscript available on that server. However it is an old
version (7.07). I keep much newer versions installed on the other
publishing computers because I use Ghostscript to create PDF manuals.
I never realized that Imagemagick was relying on it.

I can get a newer version of Ghostscript installed on the CentOS
server but I wonder if I'll need to reinstall Imagemagick in order to
cause mogrify to invoke the newer version.

Do you think an old version of Ghostscript could cause the failure?
Or is it most likely that Imagemagick doesn't know about the installed
Ghostscript at all?

Thanks for your help.
