If you compiled IM from source, then if so, you need to install all
the image delegate libraries.

Type:

convert -list configure

See what is listed on the DELEGATES line. It needs to have gif (along
with jpg, png, tif etc)

Delegates are available at http://www.imagemagick.org/download/delegates/

I am trying to create an animated GIF for the first time, on Windows 2000
with ImageMagick 6.2.8. I use this command line

convert -delay 20 -loop 0 day*.gif animated.gif

But I get this error message

convert: missing an image filename `output.gif'.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Mark
