Does anyone know how to make 1-bit per channel images? I'm taking
1-bit monochrome images (/FlatDecode) out of a PDF using pdfimages
(from xpdf), which outputs pbm files, and then edit them with gimp,
finally converting back to PDF using ImageMagick's convert. But the
resulting PDF has 8-bit pe channel /FlatDecode images, which are lot
larger. How do I tell "convert" to produce 1-bit per channel? Ideally,
I'd like to change the output PDF compression too, see my other
email...
