Hello to everybody,
I am using the ImageMagick libraries in a program used in a medical
environment to manage images.
I am using the linux Suse distribution and up to the OpenSuse 10.3 (ImageMagick
version 6.3.5.10-2) I have no problem at all in using the libraries inside my
software.
Now we have moved to OpenSuse 11.0 (ImageMagick version 6.4.0.4-20.1) and at
the linking process I receive from the linker the following error:
undefined reference to "ScaleCharToQuantum"
this seems to me really strange because I am using also the twin function
(ScaleQuantumToChar) without any problem. Is there some problem with the
libraries installed or I am making some mistake?
Any hints or suggestion will be really appreciated

P.S: one more question, why is it not possible to search inside the mailing
list? This will avoid many questions for which the answer has been already done
in the past ...
