Ron, Interesting, because the cross-corner.png appears more neutral on my viewing of it. I have put the file cross.jpg on
http://www.math.usm.edu/kolibal/cross.png and have also put a screenshot of the three files, cross.jpg, cross-corner.pdf and cross-corner.png, in the file http://www.math.usm.edu/kolibal/cross-screenshot.png and in viewing it using several viewers, the middle pdf file has a distinct greenish tinge compared to the others.
