Hello, I have significantly different behaviors between ImageMagick 6.0.7 and ImageMagick 6.2.8 when trying to convert a postscript to a png.
The command I am using is as follows: convert -density 300 -resize 24% -geometry 824x603 -page 792x612 -shave 18x25 -verbose rotate.ps landscape.png On 6.2.8, the following prints to the screen: [ghostscript library] -q -dBATCH -dSAFER -dMaxBitmap=500000000 -dNOPAUSE -dAlignToPixels=0 -dEPSCrop "-sDEVICE=pnmraw" -dTextAlphaBits=4 -dGraphicsAlphaBits=4 "-g3300x2550" "-r300x300" "-sOutputFile=/tmp/magick-XXslGYbx" "-f/tmp/magick-XXSZGoS5" "-f/tmp/magick-XXkJs3yE"/tmp/magick-XXslGYbx PNM 3300x2550 792x612+0+0 DirectClass 24mb rotate.ps PS 3300x2550 792x612+0+0 DirectClass 24mb 0.030u 0:03 rotate.ps=>landscape.png PS 3300x2550=>744x553 187x145+18+25 DirectClass 7.2e+02kb On 6.0.7, the following prints to the screen: convert: "gs" -q -dBATCH -dSAFER -dMaxBitmap=500000000 -dNOPAUSE -dAlignToPixels=0 "-sDEVICE=pnmraw" -dTextAlphaBits=4 -dGraphicsAlphaBits=4 "-g3300x2550" "-r300x300" "-sOutputFile=/tmp/magick-XXRwSFjc" "-f/tmp/magick-XXTRcsNW" "-frotate.ps". /tmp/magick-XXRwSFjc PNM 3300x2550 792x612+0+0 DirectClass 24.1mb 0.360u 0:01 rotate.ps PS 3300x2550 792x612+0+0 DirectClass 24.1mb 0.390u 0:01 rotate.ps PS 3300x2550=>169x118 187x143+18+25 DirectClass 24.1mb 0.000u 0:01 rotate.ps=>landscape.png PS 3300x2550=>169x118 187x143+18+25 DirectClass 0.020u 0:01 Are there any other parameters that I can use that would produces the same output from both versions? Is there anything else I could do to fix this problem? Unfortunately, upgrading ImageMagick is not a viable solution. Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide, - Dan _______________________________________________ Magick-users mailing list [email protected] http://studio.imagemagick.org/mailman/listinfo/magick-users
