XFAIL is an expected fail.  Certainly a segmentation faul is problematic.
If you have the time, can you download the latest release 6.4.9-9 and see if
that also produces the faults?  We ran the validation of 6.4.9-9 on more
than 10 different operating systems and they all passed.
