I can't figure out how to explicitly set the overall image size when creating an image with the montage command. All the documentation and examples I've found thus far explain how to transform geometry of the individual image tiles within the montage, and the resulting overall image (canvas?) size ends up being a function of the tile sizes. I would like to set the overall image size, the layout of the tiles, and let Imagemagick figure out how to scale the tiles. How might I do this?
