OK after creating a directory so that make install could store the documenation (?) there, ImageMagick 6.5.5-10 is installed.
valgrind no longer complains that there were too many errors. It now says ==19486== LEAK SUMMARY: ==19486== definitely lost: 0 bytes in 0 blocks. ==19486== possibly lost: 960 bytes in 3 blocks. ==19486== still reachable: 72 bytes in 2 blocks. I suppose the difference could be due to different version sof the various libraries. Any suggestions? -Leonard ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 14, 2009 6:00 AM Subject: spam: Re: [magick-users] Memory Leak >> This very simple code has a memory leak reported. > > valgrind reports > > ==9051== LEAK SUMMARY: > ==9051== definitely lost: 0 bytes in 0 blocks > ==9051== indirectly lost: 0 bytes in 0 blocks > > which suggests there are no memory leaks.
