Hello Fred, thanks for your reply. I should have think about this indeed! I'll just tell my friend to be careful about the type of image he uploads next time. BTW the thumbnails files are sometimes almost bigger than their original (but at the same time I optimized many of the original by hand), is there any strategy I could adopt to decrease thumbnail size?
