Not sure of your problem. You want to convert tiffs to jpgs, but you show a jpg image. What are you starting with? Can you provide a link to your original tiff and a badly converted jpg.
When looking at the image you provided, it has profiles in it. That may be the cause of the problem. You need to either use the correct profiles to convert the image or add -strip to your conversion to remove the profiles.
