However, I can add a 'push' config value for this branch:

git config remote.upstream2.push u2-master:master

Then 'git push' does indeed what I would expect: push the local branch
u2-master to the branch master in the remote upstream2.

Even with this config value magit still pushes the local u2-master to
u2-master on the remote.
