git HEAD is broken

Hi,

I just updated magit.el to the latest from git repo and after that
magit failed to run.

I think the commit 
http://gitorious.org/magit/mainline/commit/c8c6e01a1534d39c17c9f1d29c5a718d7328273d
is flawed.
